‘Throwback’

Old images of people are perfect for mixed media collage. This fine lady made it onto this canvas that I painted in acrylics and collaged with old papers, then embellished with old advertisements, collage bits, and some roses made from old book pages. Her brooch is a vintage earring affixed to the canvas. There is dyed lace along the top and bottom of the canvas (didn’t make it into the photo … sorry.)
