‘Two Hour Time Limit’

11 x 8.75 x 2 inches in cut-away encyclopedia book

Weighs 3 pounds - recommend using a display easel or heavy stand to display

I cut away about half the pages from this encyclopedia book to create the inset for this assemblage. The cover and the remaining pages are secured together so the book does not open. I added various vintage papers and stamps, some metal pieces, a vintage pencil and an old porcelain knob. The images of the man are of a vintage convict. There are even bits of an old 8mm movie film my dad took in the 60s. The book is covered in pieces of phone book pages and stained. The page edges are painted gold.
